Samsung is set to debut the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone on September 4, but newly leaked images (via GigaOm) are providing a glimpse of the device now. While there's obviously nothing to report in regards to internal specs, the Galaxy Note 3 appears to have an impressively thin bezel measuring just 2.2mm.

Etrade Supply managed to snag the display assembly for Samsung's upcoming smartphone and posted images with exact measurements. Overall, the Galaxy Note 3 is remarkably similar to the Galaxy Note 2, in terms of design. But where prior rumors suggested the new smartphone might feature a 6-inch display, Etrade Supply reports the device is 5.68 inches--close enough. And beyond the thin bezel, the thickness of the display is only 1.8mm thick.
Reliable Apple-leaks blogger Sonny Dickson also managed to get ahold of some Galaxy Note 3 display images, albeit without the same level of clarity. Still, Dickson's images seem to confirm those provided by Etrade.
Samsung also recently confirmed the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will be revealed alongside the Galaxy note 3 on September 4.
