Motorola Moto X Coming to Verizon this Week

AT&T customers have had the opportunity to enjoy Motorola's new Moto X for a few days now, and soon Verizon Wireless subscribers will be able to get their hands on the American-assembled Android smartphone as well. Today Verizon announced (via Android Central) that the Moto X will be sold online starting August 29th and in-stores in the coming weeks.

Motorola's Moto Maker software currently only available to AT&T customers, so the Verizon version will be sold in just black or white. The Moto X features a 4.7-inch 720p display, Motorola's X8 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 10-megapixel camera.

The Motorola Moto X will be sold through Verizon for $199.99 on contract, matching AT&T's price for the 16GB model.
