Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul has joined the cast of director Ridley Scott's forthcoming Biblical epic Exodus, which already has Christian Bale set to star as Moses.

Variety reports that Paul is in negotiations to play "the Hebrew slave Joshua who goes on to lead the people onto the promised land after Moses."
The trade also says Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro are set to play the parents of the pharaoh Ramses, to be portrayed by Joel Edgerton. Deadline claims "Ben Kingsley is in talks to play a Hebrew scholar."
Weaver previously starred in Scott's films Alien and 1492: Conquest of Paradise.
Aaron Paul's next big screen appearance will be in the video game adaptation Need for Speed.
