Next week, it's time to say goodbye to the Planet Express crew once again, as Comedy Central airs the final episode of Futurama. It's been a long road for Matt Groening and David X. Cohen's animated series, which first aired on FOX from 1999-2003, was then revived as several straight to DVD movies and finally got a full resurrection on Comedy Central that lasted for four years.
We've got an exclusive first look for you at a clip from the final episode, airing next Wednesday, as Fry and Leela discover something is very wrong with, well, everyone else...
Even as we say goodbye to Futurama, fans can take some solace knowing we will see the characters at least one more time, as it's been announced they'll be appearing on an episode of The Simpsons airing in 2015.
The Futurama series finale airs Wednesday, September 4th at 10pm on Comedy Central.
