Earlier today we broke the news that Geoff Johns would be leaving his post as shepherd of Aquaman after November's issue #25. While that's certainly a blow for Arthur Curry and Mera fans, DC Comics has made sure that Johns' replacement will satisfy: Jeff Parker -- currently killing it on DC's digital-first Batman '66 series -- will head to Atlantis with Aquaman #26 in December, along with the current art team of Paul Pelletier and Sean Parsons.
We've got the first look at the solicitation and cover for issue #26, but stay tuned for DC's full solicits later today.

- “Sea of Storms” begins with the debut of new AQUAMAN writer Jeff Parker! The Earth’s crust is grinding to life, releasing deadly volcanoes and bizarre creatures…so humanity’s first instinct is to blame Atlantis! And as the plates pull apart, the pressures of ruling a kingdom under siege are weighing on Aquaman and Mera as well!
