Bryan Singer (X-Men, X2, the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past) and his Bad Hat Harry Prods. is partnering with Syfy for a modern monster/Kaiju series, Deadline reports.
Entitled Creature at Bay, the drama takes place in the aftermath of a giant monster/Kaiju attack off the coast of Northern California. The story follows a middle-management Undersecretary from the California Emergency Management Agency who, under the world's watchful eyes, must lead the clean-up and restoration efforts in the small town that came under attack -once the creature has been put down.
John Cabrera (co-creator of Warner Bros. digital sci-fi series H+) will pen the 90-minute pilot script.
