Screenshots of Propaganda Games' Turok sequel that ended up being canceled, Turok 2, have surfaced on the web, providing a look at what could have been if the studio had been allowed to see the game through to release.
The images, which primarily consist of concept art, showed up on NeoGAF and feature exactly the sort of things you'd expect in a Turok game: dinosaurs, soldiers, and guns. The post also points to an old video that offers a brief glimpse of a dinosaur moving around while being shot at.
The game would have been the sequel to Turok, the Propaganda-developed FPS that came out in 2008 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Extensive layoffs at Propaganda in early 2009 resulted in Turok 2's cancellation, which would later be followed by the cancellation of Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned. Propaganda went on to be one of the many studios shut down in 2011, having released only two games: Turok and Tron: Evolution.
Based on this small look at the unfinished game, would you have liked to see how Turok 2 turned out? Check out all the images at NeoGAF and then let us know in the comments.
