Game Debuts

RPG Bonds of the Skies – ($3.99)

Kemco's latest role-playing adventure keeps their streak of SNES-esque, turn-based, 16-bit-styled momentum rolling with another opportunity to save the world. This one's hook appears to be Folklore Points, earnable or purchasable currency that can power up your heroes.

Street Fighter Sale

Capcom's just kicked off a Back to School sale that's encompassing the whole line of iOS Street Fighter games. (I'm having a little trouble seeing the connection between Street Fighter and school, though. Fighting bullies on the playground?) Anywho, take your pick of these three 99-cent options (and/or grab the free one).

Street Fighter IV – ($0.99)

Street Fighter II Collection – ($0.99)

street2

Street Fighter IV Volt – ($0.99)

Gem Fighter – (Free)

(OK, so technically this one isn't from Capcom. But it's worth mentioning alongside the "actual" Street Fighter games for its close cloning of that series' puzzle-genre spin-off, Puzzle Fighter.)

Updates

Minecraft: Pocket Edition – ($6.99)

The iOS version of Mojang's mega-hit continues to make slow strides toward matching the feature set of the PC source material. Version 0.7.4 has now arrived, and it lets you set Creepers on fire with flint and steel. Progress!
